The Medical College of Georgia is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 260 students per class. The educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state and a second four-year campus in Athens in partnership with the University of Georgia. MCG's expanding partnerships with physicians and hospitals across Georgia currently provides about 350 sites where students can experience the full spectrum of medicine, from complex care hospitals to small-town solo practices. MCG and its teaching hospitals also provide postgraduate education to more than 500 residents and fellows in 50 different Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-approved programs. Our researchers and clinicians focus on what most impacts the health of Georgia's and America's children and adults, including cardiovascular biology and disease, cancer, neurosciences and behavioral sciences, public and preventive health, regenerative and reparative medicine, personalized medicine and genomics. Our physician faculty also share their expertise with physicians and patients at about 100 clinics and hospitals statewide.

Job Summary
This position will assist with faculty recruitment, attend meeting and take minutes as requested, faculty evaluations, special projects and department events. Provide administrative support to select faulty to include but not limited to keeping calendars, updating CVs, track and submit leave, prepare travel and update PACT system. Also cross-train and assist with the coordination, planning, budgeting and administrative support of Radiology residency and the following fellowships: Diagnostic Radiology, Diagnostic and Vascular and Interventional Integrated Residencies, Neuroradiology, MSK, Abdominal, and Breast Imaging Fellowships.

Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to: Assist with day-to-day operations of the Radiology residency & fellowship training programs. Plan and setup for meeting and conferences. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ACGME policies and procedures with understanding of common specialty program requirements. Prepare travel authorizations and reimbursements for residents, fellows, and program directors. Prepare remittance authorizations for resident/fellow meals, special events and reimbursements for regular program supplies. Provide general administrative support for residents, fellows, residency program coordinator, program director, assistant program director. Assist the residency program coordinator with recruitment and interview process for candidates applying for residency program and fellowships, maintenance of all documents required for program and to demonstrate current residents are meeting departmental and ACGME requirements, and prepare for new resident orientations. Assist with development, coordination, and distribution of block schedules, call schedules, and other needs related to the residency program. Assist with entering, documentation and tracking of schedules and hours in the ONE45 system. Track vacation and sick leave for residents and fellows. Prepare validation of residency and/or fellowship program completion as requested from various hospitals and institutions. Track resident scores for national exams and assist with maintaining a database of current resident/fellows. Assist with faculty recruitment, attend meeting and take minutes as requested, assist with faculty evaluations, assist with special projects and events in the department. Provide administrative support to select faculty to include but not limited to keeping calendars, update CV's, track and submit leave, prepare all travel documentation, and update PACT system. Perform all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions OR High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and six years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.

Ability to maintain confidentiality; Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases; Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday

Pay Grade: 10

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
