ROLE SUMMARY

The I&I Commercial Effectiveness Team is focused on maximizing the patient impact of our I&I customer-facing colleagues.  Core responsibilities include providing thought-partnership with I&I commercial leaders (Account, Sales, marketing teams) generating insights to optimize our Strategic Customer Group (Account Management) team deployment and delivering innovation to advance how we engage with HCPs and organized customers. 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The individual should possess a combination of both sales and account management expertise, strategic thinking, analytical expertise, project management skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities to help the I&I US organization achieve our patient impact and revenue targets.  S/he will need to collaborate closely with brand marketing, strategic customer teams (account management) and sales.  Specific responsibilities vary based on assignment, and likely include:

  • Understand key U.S. market trends and signals to guide strategic direction to support Marketing Operating and Go to market launch plans for the Biosimilar Franchise.
  • Strategic Customer Group Account Management Partnership and Collaboration to ensure account management reporting and tracking platforms align with approved KPIs, engagement tracking and strategic imperatives.
  • Lead timely development, implementation and continuous assessment of Business Plans that address regional opportunities/risks, precision investment.
  • Brand Team Strategic Partnership and Collaboration by delivering both national/subnational insights to brand leadership to diagnose brand performance and shape IDN and Key customer strategy and launch plans.
  • Enable the continued evolution of KAM planning processes in terms of goals, KPIs, documentation tools, and resources. ·
  • Advance identification and implementation of appropriate and compliant metrics and key performance indicators to measure impact of account management practices.
  • Collaborate with Pfizer Digital and Scaled Analytics on customized analytical support to address key business questions as appropriate.
  • Project Management/Innovation Initiatives
  • Lead and support development of our industry leading capabilities and develop the new go to market strategy for all customer-facing functions to deliver on our upcoming launches and ensure we're positioned for success in the evolving market landscape.
  • Provide insight and direction regarding customer needs assessment, market/product/channel segmentation.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues and teams (Pilots and working teams) for alignment and best practice sharing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree required.  MBA or other advanced professional degree preferred
  • 3+ years spent in a promoted position and/or developmental role with demonstrated leadership of teams preferred
  • 7+ years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical commercial (e.g., sales, marketing, corporate strategy) experience with a strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace required
  • A high-level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel is required
  • Proficiency in project management concepts and tools preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct experience in Account Management or strategic consulting preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to lead change and influence without direct authority
  • Ability to influence and establish good working relationships with senior executives
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations, PowerPoint/written, meeting facilitation, and one-on-one/small group

Work Location Assignment: Remote

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,900.00 to $261,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
