Respiratory Therapist

The successful candidate:

***$15,000 sign on bonus***

Hours: Nights - 6:30pm -7:00am, rotating wknd/holidays

Job Summary:

Performs all offered respiratory therapies, ventilator management, EKG’s, Pulse oximetry, Holter monitor, pulmonary function tests and special procedures via Pulmonologist. Operates and manages respiratory equipment and supplies to ensure safe and accurate patient care. Performs clerical duties such as chart data entry, input of department charges, document filing and other tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for respiratory therapy and IL Licensure required

  • National Certification, RRT or CRT preferred

  • Must have current BLS certification, ACLS certification preferred

  • Minimum 3 years of critical care/ICU experience preferred

  • Must have strong background in bedside patient care

  • Able to be self-supervising and self-motivated

  • Basic computer skills in working with Excel and Word

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $27.76 - $45.67 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
