Summary

The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Senior Coordinator, Business Operations – HR Support. This role will perform daily human resource and faculty affairs support for the Department. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage previous experience to implement new and updated processes to support operations. The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine provides personalized care for patients with neurological disease, trains medical students and residents in clinical care and research, conducts research to advance the art and science of neurology, and provides meaningful new therapies for patients.

Job Duties

50% Human Resources
• Performs and oversees the day-to-day human resources function for the Department. 
• Performs personnel transactions including position approvals/management, recruiting, and onboarding. 
• Manages the departmental visa processes for new and current employees.
• Manages the contracts and agreements for volunteer faculty, learners, trainees, and visitors. 

 

40% Faculty Affairs Support 
• Performs and oversees the faculty onboarding process including position submission, obtaining approvals, drafting Faculty Employment Agreements (FEA), redacting the FEAs, amendments, pre-hire steps, and onboarding. 
• Performs the credentialing process for new faculty members service Baylor Medicine and affiliate institutions. 
• Coordinates the faculty onboarding and offboarding process. 
• Manages faculty reappointments and renewals including CV storage. 
• Processes personnel related transactions in SuccessFactors. 
• Creates and manages the Sponsored Guest Accounts (SGA) for voluntary faculty, learners, trainees, etc. 

 

10% Special Projects 
• Assists the Department Administrator and Senior Manager with Special Projects. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in Human Resources.
