Summary

The Coordinator, Business Operations will provide administrative support to 20+ Baylor College of Medicine faculty at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio. Daily administrative support will include scheduling meetings, assisting with call schedules, resident rotations, managing department meetings, creating minutes, agendas, managing credentialing files, assisting with distributing mail, managing interview itineraries, and onboarding itineraries and submitting reimbursements for faculty travel.  Coordinator,  Business Operations will support the following departments: Genetics, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease and Endoscopy Fellowship.

Job Duties

  • Manage domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).
  • Compose formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
  • Calendar scheduling and maintenance.
  • Assist with timekeeping.
  • Submit expenses for reimbursement. Inspect and troubleshoot shared department equipment.
  • Facilitate service calls as needed.
  • Assist with drafting and inputting call schedules.
  • Schedule department meetings, agendas, minutes maintaining credentialing files for faculty.
  • Coordinate On-boarding for new hires
  • Coordinate interviews for candidates.
  • Assist with small department projects.
  • Provide additional support to faculty members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
