Summary
Dr. Hyser's lab is seeker a Student Helper.
Job Duties
- Provides laboratory technical and research support for the Hyser lab. \
- Makes buffers and media.
- Stocks plastic ware and other lab reagents.
- Assists the Lab Manager with ordering and organizing freezers, refrigerators, and dry reagents.
- As skills allow, the Student Helper will be tasked with preparing DNA plasmids, extracting RNA for sequencing, routine cell culture work, and preparing and tittering virus stocks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required.
