Job Function:
Assist head coach in the overall day to day operations of the volleyball program
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree by date of appointment
Preferred Education:
Bachelors Degree in sports administration or related area.
Minimum Experience:
Previous experience in the sport of volleyball as a student-athlete, coach, or support staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordination of travel accommodations such as hotel arrangements, bus/flight arrangements, food orders, etc.
- Maintain working knowledge of video breakdown technology (VolleyMetrics).
- Liaison between head coach and administration as it relates to volleyball facility scheduling
- Coordinate ticket lists for home and away matches
- Assist in meeting and coordination with opponents during home events.
- Coordinates all team pre-game meals for home matches
- Liaison for alumni relations
- Liaison for marketing department.
- Responsible for social media accounts, including Facebook, X, and Instagram
- Primary contact for community outreach involvement.
- Assist in areas including: equipment/apparel orders, summer camp duties and management, team event coordination (banquet, occasional meals, etc.) and Arms software .
- Maintain knowledge of compliance with specific NCAA, Mid-American Conference and institution rules
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
