Position Overview and Responsibilities
Participates in decision making regarding an assigned research project. Assists supervisor with development of the plan, design experiments, and outline of the procedures. Performs a variety of experiments for a research project according to protocol. Prepares reports and papers for publication. Presents results to various groups. Troubleshoots straight-forward problems and knows when to deviate from standard practice. Performs literature searches.
Minimum Qualifications
BA or BS degree in one of the biological sciences, physics, chemistry or relevant field. Must be pursuing an advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.). May have extramural funding.
