Job Description
Summary
The intern will receive direct mentorship from the PI, David Lipshutz as well as from other members of the lab. The PI will meet with the intern at least two hourly meetings per week. The PI will supervise the interns progress evaluating papers and implementing computational models.
Job Purpose
Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.
Job Duties
- Joins journal clubs reviewing scientific papers.
- Implements computational models in MATLAB or python.
- Presents progress reports to the lab.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
