Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated driver to transport patients, caregivers, and administrative staff in extra-length vehicles within a 70-mile radius of Zion, Illinois. The driver will ensure passengers' needs are met by providing exceptional customer service, creating a comfortable experience, and representing City of Hope in a professional and positive manner.
Responsibilities:
Transport patients, caregivers, and administrative staff to various locations within a 70-mile radius of Zion, Illinois.
Provide quality customer service to ensure maximum comfort for passengers.
Represent City of Hope in a professional and positive manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 6 months of driving experience.
Familiarity with the Chicagoland area or ability to read and comprehend road maps.
Valid driver's license for the state of residence.
Valid DOT medical certification (currently in possession or will need to obtain upon hire).
Excellent driving record for the past three years.
Sound judgment and quick decision-making skills in inclement weather, with ill passengers, and in traffic situations.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Working knowledge of defensive driving rules and techniques.

City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $17.51 - $22.56 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
