Job Description

The Department of Biological & Biomedical Sciences (BBS) is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses for both majors and non-majors. Courses include (but are not limited to) anatomy & physiology, genetics, cell biology, ecology, and microbiology, as well as general biology for non-science majors. Teaching appointments will be in the Fall 2025 and/or the Spring 2026 semesters. See the Department website (https://csm.rowan.edu/departments/bbs) for more information.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree required in a subdiscipline of biology or a field of science clearly related to the course being taught. Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience, experience with learning management systems (our campus uses Canvas), favorable recommendations from references, and favorable previous teaching evaluations.

Starting Date: September 2025 for Fall 2025 semester, January 2026 for Spring 2026 semester.
